Position Description:

Working with OLTP/data warehouse modeling, and play key role in multiple projects and act as knowledge expert (Technical, Functional).
Collaborate with Solution & Enterprise Architects, Business analysts, DBAs and others to understand business requirements
Support complex discussions and engagements that may involve multiple project teams from client.
Able to work independently with BA and PM to gather requirements, perform data discovery, come up with data model, and work with developers to design and implement ETL solutions.
Work with ETL methodologies for supporting data extraction, transformations and loading processing, in a corporate-wide-ETL Solution.
Working on data pipeline solution on large database environment (e.g. Greenplum/PostgreSQL).
Data analysis, problem solving.
Work with ETL tools and SQL database.
Working with a team in information architecture, data architecture, data modeling, data governance, ETL design, data quality and BI-analytics.
Working with a team designing relational data models, analytical data models and non-relational data models for OLTP and advanced analytic applications.

Skills:

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum 1+ years 'experience in data warehouse projects with strong understanding of data warehouse principles and methods.
Experience in BI related fields with progressively increased level of responsibility in data analysis, data modeling, data warehousing, ETL development, BI development, database development and SQL experiences.
Familiar with change data capture tools and technologies along with some daa pipeline development
Strong SQL skills and understanding of the database concepts.
Experience with data lake, big data, AWS and cloud-based databases, MPP database technologies such as Greenplum and PostgreSQL is a plus

Required Skills:

Ability to think thru the question and ask clarification about the question
Some Data Analysis, troubleshooting, and problem solving
Capability to work with multiple teams and users for more than one project, at the same time,
Open and timely communication with team members
Good understanding with BI development life cycle, data architect, metadata management, data marts and related methodologies.
Experience in ETL design and development using any ETL tools such as Informatica and Ab Initio.
Able to multi-task under tight deadlines.

Desired Skills:

Some experience working in large-scale data warehouse cloud environments is a plus.
Some experience in data pipeline projects is added advantageous

Ability to create dashboards in Tableau or Webfocus using various sources like database, CSV files, XL spreadsheets etc.

Education:

Bachelor's degree and 1 year of experience or 5 years of experience in related field in lieu of a degree
Must be able to obtain a Public Trust
