Description We are offering a short-term contract employment opportunity for a Billing Clerk in Plano, Texas. This role is centered within the accounting industry, with a focus on accounts receivable and billing functions. The chosen candidate will be required to work on-site and will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring efficient processing of customer payments.Responsibilities: Accurately process customer invoices and credit applications Apply payments received, both checks and wire transfers, to the correct customer accounts Ensure efficient management of customer accounts and take necessary actions when needed Establish and maintain accurate customer credit records Make use of various accounting software systems to maintain and update customer records Ensure effective communication with customers through email and phone to resolve inquiries Obtain Purchase Order numbers through email communication as required Handle inbound calls and emails, providing timely and relevant responses Support the team in other accounting functions as neededRequirements Ability to handle Accounting Functions and Accounts Receivable (AR) effectively Experience in answering inbound calls in a professional manner Strong knowledge and experience in Billing Functions Proficiency in using various software and platforms for accounting and billing purposes Ability to manage and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Attention to detail and high level of accuracy in work Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
