Description We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team in Creedmoor, Texas. As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing customer credit applications, and resolving credit inquiries. This role will also involve monitoring customer credit accounts and taking appropriate actions to collect delinquent payments. This role offers a short term contract employment opportunity in the Engineering industry.Responsibilities: Process customer credit applications accurately and efficiently Maintain accurate financial records, ensuring all data is up-to-date and accurate Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable tasks Perform bank reconciliations and account reconciliations Use Microsoft Excel to manage data and perform calculations Complete month end close procedures, ensuring all financial records are accurate Handle company payroll, ensuring all employees are paid accurately and on time Use QuickBooks for financial management and bookkeeping tasks Assist with mergers and acquisitions processes when required Perform data entry tasks, ensuring all data is accurate and up-to-date. Requirements Possesses skills in Account Reconciliation Proficient in handling Accounts Payable (AP) Skilled in managing Accounts Receivable (AR) Experienced in conducting Bank Reconciliations Has a strong background in Bookkeeping Proficient in Data Entry tasks Demonstrates advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel Capable of managing Month End Close Experienced in processing Payroll Has proficiency in using QuickBooks Familiar with Mergers & Acquisitions (M& A) activities in an engineering environment Holds relevant qualifications in bookkeeping or a related field Previous experience in an engineering firm is advantageous Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information Willingness to continually update skills and knowledge in the field of bookkeeping.
