Job Description Senior Consultant-Business Analyst:Senior Consultant will capture requirement for a BI product to develop insight on business and IT operations. The candidate will be responsible to collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand work of different teams, practices, processes, tools that relate to the requirement, collect data, create visual design, conduct a proof-of-concept with actual data before creating stories, engaging technical teams through refinement sessions, and handing over the requirement for code development. During the sprint the candidate will collaborate with technical teams to clarify queries, fine-tune stories, do functional testing, assist to conduct sprint reviews and user acceptance testing. The candidate will also keep the stakeholders updated with development progress. Responsibilities: - Liaising between the executives and product team.
- Acting as an information source and communicator between business units.
- Understanding strategic business needs and plans for growth for product.
- Analyzing the design of technical systems and business models.
- Utilizing data for business insights.
- Analyzing business needs.
- Finding suitable solutions to business requirements.
- Producing reports on application development and implementation.
- Doing Functional Testing and facilitating User Acceptance Testing.
- Analyzing data to inform business decisions.
Requirements: - 15+ years of consulting experience, accomplishing multiple tasks within fast paced environments.
- Exposure in requirement gathering for Business Intelligence (BI) tool is preferred.
- Experience in data integration and analytics is a big plus.
- Expert in conflict resolution, problem-solving and stakeholder management.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and having ability to quickly develop rapport with stakeholders
- Ability to focus on high-payoff improvements to achieve immediate benefits.
- Ability to articulate, plan and execute with meticulous precision
- Ability to learn from feedback and improve own consulting practice
