Business Analyst - must have P&C insurance experience

Business Systems AnalystFull timeDallas Responsibilities:

• Document detailed business and data requirements and translate them into specific software requirements comprehensible for all project team members
• Ability to comprehend complex technical designs and specifications
• Ability to independently analyze, interpret and validate data
• Must have strong technical comprehension and business intelligence skills and full comprehension of the business needs of the customer
• Develop, execute and streamline test plans for QA analysts and business testers
• Detailed analysis of test results and interpretation for developers
• Work collaboratively with others in a team environment
• Provide leadership across the BA organization and mentor less experienced team members

• Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university and a minimum of 5 years related experience Advanced Microsoft Office Skills
• Expertise with JIRA and Confluence, or similar ticketing and requirements software
• Experience with prototyping and wireframe software
• Working knowledge of databases, with the ability to query and analyze data
• Working knowledge of network, infrastructure and security software
• Insurance and/or financial experience strongly preferred
