- Develop strategic relationships with key players and decision makers that have products in the Web/API/Microservices/Cloud space.
- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve sales targets with target partners, and track and build this key strategic growth area for the business.
- Identify new business opportunities through market research and networking.
- Develop and deliver persuasive presentations and proposals to potential clients and partners.
- Negotiate and close deals to achieve revenue targets.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure customer satisfaction and project success, including licensing, assignment and revenue deals.
- Additional experience with start-up and new venture creation a plus. Responsible to define, create, close and support launch of Research technology deal.
- Be engaged in Pre-Sales, Sales and Delivery process for new clients and for clients brought in through business development.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitive landscape.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Marketing, or related field.
- 8+ years of experience in business development, sales, or related field.
- Strong understanding of web/API/microservices/cloud tools in the software services sector. Track record of success communicating and working with Cloud SMEs, architects, and developers to develop sales strategies, pre-sales, solution development and pipeline to actively drive transformation.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and expanding customer base.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers.
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently.
- Willingness to travel.
