Coupled with this our media brands serve 1.5m monthly page views, 490,000 newsletter subscribers and 130k+ social media followers, allowing our clients access to the length and breadth of the market through one powerful full suite marketing services organization.Areas of Responsibility and AccountabilityBuilding and executing a retention and new business development plans for a given customer segmentIdentifying and engaging with new prospects within this segment to gain understanding of their specific challenges and needsHaving an in-depth knowledge of Informa products, services, solutions and value propositionWorking closely with customers to ensure ROI and subsequent continuation of business with Informa past year oneMeet with customers face to face, over the phone, virtually or in writingFoster and develop sustainable long-term relationships with customersIdentify and map potential Customer pain points/needs/challenges and accurately positioning Informa Tech’s products, services and solutions as a solution to themWriting business proposal, drafting and reviewing Customer ContractsNegotiating with multiple stakeholders for a win win outcomePrepare sales forecasts and analysis and present your findings to management through weekly, monthly, quarterly and yearly reporting including risks, opportunities, wins and lossesWork as a pro-active member of a high energy/high activity/high achieving business development cohortAchieving revenue targets, proactively responding to inbound enquiries, and self-generated leads based on market and product understanding.Work collaboratively across Informa Techs to promote Informa Tech’s wider capabilities and solutionsBuild a social media presence through social selling to drive referrals and nurture potential CustomersKeep abreast of trends and changes in the business world locally and internationallyKeep Customer information/records up to date such as interactions,  transactions, pipelines, new business account plans and record on the Informa CRM system.Proactively develop yourself, keep abreast of the changing business/industry landscape and have a personal development plan (IDP) utilizing the Informa Tech Sales Excellence Competencies. Work on projects across the business as and when requiredAttend/participate in Informa and industry relevant seminars, associations, events, conference and competitor events where appropriate
