Sr Business Systems Analyst

6-12 months contract with potential for hire in future
Currently 100% REMOTE
Client is in insurance ( healthcare, life, accident, disability, dental ) with office in Richardson, TX and IL
Looking for locals to Dallas area.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

6+ yrs of business systems analysis experience
Good understanding of healthcare / insurance industry / HIPAA preferred.
Some experience with
Salesforce will be a plus
Experience working on software development, integration, enhancement, data projects

Preferred experience

Experience in backlog grooming and working with Stake Holders/Sponsors
Skills in conducting requirements gathering sessions and producing requirement deliverables such as User Stories, Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), Functional requirement Documents (FRDs), Process Workflows, Prototypes, Specifications Documents and Wireframes.
Experience in conducting and participating in all Scrum Ceremonies (Sprint planning, Backlog grooming, Sprint Review and Retrospective meetings)
Ability to create roadmaps based off intent, breaking epics into features and writing acceptance criteria.
Report progress to the Business Owners, Product Owners and Project Managers regarding build, test and deployment of system updates and business initiatives.
Collaborating with QA and UAT teams for creating and reviewing Test Plans and Test Cases.
Extensive experience working in an Agile and Waterfall environment.
Proficient in creating Requirement Traceability Matrix (RTM) to track and manage requirements.
Create and maintain tasks and sub-tasks in JIRA or Azure DevOps or similar tools
