Who knows where our shared journey will take you?We are looking for Calibration/Metrology Technician in our new facility in Fort Worth, TX.You’ll make an impact by:

Empowering Siemens employees to design and assemble products safely, confidently, and with the highest quality standards while working closely with cross-functional teams, including design engineers, production staff, and quality assurance personnel.

Build and maintain accurate records in calibration management software for approximately 3000 tools; monitor, collect and organize data related to the calibration status (product, dimensions, tolerances, and quality metrics), collect past-due or defective tools, perform calibrations, and prepare comprehensive reports and documentation for analysis and review.

Coordinate with purchasing and logistics to arrange for outsourced calibration or repair services and to procure calibrated tools for new hires.

Collaborate with team to resolve dimensional issues, improve product designs, and enhance manufacturing processes and lead improvement efforts related to calibration system with Plant Management, Supervisors, and shop floor personnel.

Perform weekly toolboxes and station audits to verify there are no past due tools and that tools are in good condition.

You’ll win us over by having the following qualifications:Basic Qualifications:

3+ year of experience in related area in a manufacturing facility

2+ experience with handling and calibration of tools, using precision measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, and Coordinate Measuring Machines), and related software.

Proficient with Microsoft (Excel, Word, etc)

Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications:

Completed High School Diploma or GED

Knowledge with calibration management software (GageTRAK)

Familiarity with CAD software

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $36.00 The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
