Key Roles and Responsibilities· Implement and maintain a pro-active and self-healing approach to capacity management· Implementing short and long-term prediction modeling and demand forecasting· Establish capacity planning reports/metrics/alerts· Establishing best practices for auto-scaling and elasticity· Work with the infrastructure teams to implement capacity enhancements· Compliance remediation with infrastructure resources· Rightsizing and Tuning support of resources, such as VM’s and mS. Required Qualifications· BS in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent professional experience.· 5+ years of experience in site reliability and technical operations with a focus on allocation management, capacity planning and capacity management· Experience with Prometheus / Grafana, Dynatrace, Nagios, Splunk, EFK, Quantum Metrics, Azure Monitor, Application Insights monitoring tools and other metrics, monitoring and capacity planning tools· Experience with Azure Iaas & PaaS implementations· Experience with Azure Autoscaling· Excellent communication skills Preferred Qualifications· Chaos Engineering and Chaos Engineering tools· Experience in core Azure cloud technologies such as: Azure DevOps, VMSS, Vnet, Azure Load balancer, Azure Application gateway, Azure Private Link, Cosmos DB, Azure Monitor/Application Insights, AKS, Azure Cache, Event Hub, Azure Functions· Deep experience with performance tuning· Experience implementing and managing monitoring solutions· Experience with open-source cloud agnostic technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, Openstack, Anisible, Terraform· Knowledge & demonstrated experience in Agile methodologies and practice· Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment and technologies· Ability to work in a highly collaborative environment.
