What you will do in this role:

  • Responsible for assisting the R.N. in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the care of the Cath Lab patient.
  • Manages all assigned personnel, supplies, and equipment in the Cath Lab.
  • Participates in activities to plan, measure, assess, and improve the quality of patient care.
  • Assists the physician with all procedures performed in the Cath Lab.

Education

  • Graduate of accredited school of Radiologic Technology
  • Educational requirements appropriate for meeting age-specific needs of patientsassigned to the Cardiac Cath Lab.

What qualification you will need:

  • ARRT and Radiology Technologist – Texas Department of Health - required
  • American Red Cross or American Heart Association Basic Life Support Course (BLS or BCLS) and Certification required
