We would love to talk to you about this fantastic opportunity.Central Sterile Educator Job Summary:Under limited supervision, the Central Sterile Educator develops, plans, implements and evaluates educational programs to meet the needs of the Sterile Processing Department and to aide in the professional development of staff. The SPD Educator maintains open and active communication with the medical staff, patient care staff, and interdepartmental staff. The SPD Educator ensures the competency of all SPD staff and maintains departmental education records in compliance with regulatory guidelines. The SPD Educator oversees quality and infection control initiatives for SPD. Performs and drives quality assurance audits. Ensures “instructions for use” (IFU) documentation is up to date and compliant. The SPD Educator provides a comprehensive and technical orientation, education, and training program for the sterile processing staff. The Educator performs quarterly audits of employee records. The educator will also assist updating Instrument Tracking System Data and ensuring all scanning protocols are followed consistently.Central Sterile Educator Job Requirements:

Previous experience as a central sterile processing technician required
