Is that you?Work location: Texas Health Denton: 3000 N I-35 Denton, TX 76201Work hours: Full Time (40 Hour) Second Shift; Monday through Friday from 3:00p – 11:30p with weekend and holiday call requirementsDepartment highlights:· Team based environment· Workplace culture 2 nd to none· Great benefits/ 401k / PTO· We operate on lean principles and rely heavily on a team atmosphere and individual performance· Highly engaged managementHere’s What You NeedQualificationsEducation· High School Diploma or equivalent requiredExperience· 1 year sterile processing experience preferredLicenses and Certifications· CSPDT – Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technici9an upon hire required OR· CBSPD – Certification Board for Sterile Processing & Distribution upon hire required OR· CRCST – Certified Registered Central Service Technician upon hire required· BCLS – Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly requiredWhat You Will Do· Performs scanning of instrument trays for location and creation of count sheet/label.· Demonstrates proper assembly technique for instrument trays.· Demonstrates wrapping/containing of instruments/trays.· Performs scanning of instrument trays to track location using the SPM system.· Demonstrates decontamination process according to policy and procedure.· Performs tests and documents as directed to ensure proper operation of washers and Emergency Eyewash and Shower.· Demonstrates the proper loading technique for sterilization method· Scans prepared items into correct sterilizer load.Additional perks of being a Texas Health RN:· Benefits include 401k, PTO, medical, dental, Paid Parental Leave, flex spending, tuition reimbursement, Student Loan Repayment Program as well as several other benefits.· At Texas Health, our people make this a great place to work every day.
