DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:

Unload truck shipments and visually check for damages

Compare shipment to packing slip and Tower purchase order for accuracy

Document and report discrepancies

Enter incoming information into computer for inventory maintenance

Consolidate stock and shelf bulk stock

Assist customers at pick up window

Trained on picker and forklift

Maintain clean workstations (including neat and organized)

Keep aisles organized and free from obstruction.

Daily removal of cardboard and garbage

Report any safety issues immediately to management if needing assistance

Fosters the MSC Culture in the department and throughout the company to ensure fulfillment of MSC’s vision and unity of purpose.

Participation in special projects and performs additional duties as required

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:

A High School diploma or the equivalent is required, or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

To perform this job successfully, an individual should be PC literate.

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to other associates of the organization.

Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's.

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions. Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.
