Position: Senior Cloud Architect Work location: Denver, CO OR Austin, TX OR SFO, CA - (HYBRID)Hybrid Position - (Day 1 Onsite report - At least 2 days a week work from office) . Role / Visa: Fulltime Position / Our client can provide H1B Sponsor ship Job Description: In this role, you will design delivery of core foundation engineering Hybrid Cloud adhering to Cloud Strategy. You will drive automation of core foundation engineering by partnering with Cloud Product management, Platform and Solutions Engineering, and Ops Engineering. You will perform hands-on evaluations before we scale up the adoption of cloud platforms/tools to high-risk applications. You will anticipate future cyber threats trends. You will drive design of enterprise tools integration into Hybrid foundations. You will define and translate vision into actionable plans, having the ability to see the ‘big picture’. You will monitor emerging technologies and manage relationships with technology vendors.For this role, you will have a Bachelor’s in Computer Science or related fields with 6+ years of professional experience or MS with 4+ years of experience. - Experience will include Cloud and infrastructure design and implementation.
- You will have strong communication, listening, and negotiations skills; able to convey important messages in a clear and compelling manner.
- You will have strong experience on cloud architecture, cloud fundamentals on compute, network, storage, and security to ensure high availability while ensuring the highest level of security, compliance, and visibility.
- You will understand Public Clouds, Kubernetes, Openshift, Infra-as-code frameworks, API Gateways, CNCF technologies, Cloud Native application architectures. You have experience in managing multi-tenant and highly resilient services across various cloud computing models.
- You have experience with Infrastructure automation tools such as Terraform, Cloud formation, etc. with a focus on immutable infrastructure.
- You have experience in any major programming languages– Python and Boto3, Go, and AWS Lambda. You have a thorough understanding of Agile principles and processes.
- Certifications in AWS or Google Cloud Platform is highly preferred.
