Allied Consultants is an equal opportunities employer.ResponsibilitiesSeeking a candidate who will be a key member of the client's Enterprise Data Architecture team and has overall responsibility for defining the technical architecture and facilitating the technical evolution of a suite of integrated, cloud-based, configurable, and intelligent data platform services. This person will also define the migration strategy for client's data and analytical solutions from on-prem to the cloud.Responsibilities:
  • Work with program leaders, technical teams, in the implementation of the technology architecture and execution plan to support client’s vision for its data management program
  • Evaluate Cloud Platforms and Cloud Technology vendors and define a product and platform architecture that best fits client’s analytical needs
  • Define solutions to support (1) dashboards and reports, (2) real time analytics, (3) machine learning, and (4) mobile data solutions
  • Function as the solution lead for architecting the data pipelines to support the development/enablement of Information Supply Chains within client – this could include building (1) cloud-based data provisioning frameworks, (2) data integration into cloud based data warehouse, data marts, and other analytical repositories (3) integration of analytical results into on-prem operational systems, (4) development of onprem or cloud based data lakes and other data archival stores.
  • Develop the migration plan for client’s current data and analytics ecosystem to future state vision (based on Technology and Platform selections)

Skills/Experience10Experience leading solutions architecture and/or enterprise architecture for data intensive, scalable, high throughput integration platforms and applications leveraging knowledge of industry standards, latest data integration, storage and distribution technologies and engineering practices7Experience building data management and analytical solutions on AWS, Azure or Google Cloud Platform6Experience building and managing data lakes on Hadoop environment8Knowledge of industry standard patterns, practices and technologies including Microservices and containers, Cloud, message streaming, REST and web services APIs, Big Data, ML-AI7Experience developing, deploying, and supporting scalable and high-performance data pipelines (leveraging distributed, data movement technologies and approaches, including but not limited to ETL and streaming ingestion and processing)7Defines best practices on supporting Self Service BI. Provides technical leadership on the deployment architecture, development guidelines, data delivery layer (portal, dashboard, mobile site, report) design5Experience with 2 complete life cycle BI implementations as the technical BI lead (defining data architecture, architecting ETL pipelines, building data delivery frameworks, etc.).
