Position: Cloud Database and ETL Specialist Location: Plano. TX (Onsite twice a week in Plano TX- Monday and Wednesday, and the rest remote.) Duration: Fulltime Looking for passionate and self-motivated DB and ETL specialist who can design the SaaS based DB architecture, has handled large-scale fast-moving data using ETL processes. Worked in Agile teams. Self-motivated and a leader who can mentor other team members. Strong understand of multi-tenant and highly scalable DB architecture. Job Requirements: Primary Skills:
- Over 10-12 years DB / ETL experience in Design, Development, Tuning and Maintenance of Databases and ETL.
- Experienced in various tools of MS SQL Server 2017+ / Azure SQL Server in different phases of SDLC
- Expertise and experience in designing, and developing RDBMS / Data Warehouse, whose structure includes Schemas, Tables, Procs, Functions, views, and Indexes
- Expert in SQL profiler, Index Tuning, and Database Engine Tuning Advisor to optimize queries and tune performance
- Handled ETL / ELT using various tools
- Experienced in creating configuration files, Logging, Error Handling using Event Handlers in SSIS or any ETL
- Experienced in Enterprise level BI Solutions
- Experienced in Agile methodologies
- Person with strong aptitude, ready to take on challenges, work as an independent and inspirational Team player / lead / mentor
- MS SQL 2017+ / Azure SQL or. similar
- ETL tool such Talend or similar
- BI tool such as Sisense (primary) or similar to power BI
- Public cloud native DBs exposure
