Responsibilities

• Implement AWS Cloud platform services which include EC2, VPC, EBS, AMI, SNS, RDS, EBS, Cloud Watch, Cloud Trail, Cloud Formation AWS Config, Autos calling, Cloud Front, IAM, S3, R53 • Implement Azure Cloud platform services which include VM, VNET, Storage, VM Image, SQL Managed Instance, Monitor, ARM, Front Door, NSG, Azure Policies, Backup • Use GIT and automation tools like Jenkins, Azure DevOps, Terraform, Ansible, etc. to implement and manage End-to-End Automation • Manage multiple cloud accounts and perform audit functionality • Assist in identifying and organizing requirements and producing specifications • Share expertise throughout the organization and may provide user training for products • Identify and keep abreast of novel technical concepts and markets • Author and update technical documentation, runbooks, ops guides, and presentations when needed • Participate in process design and tool selection ensuring compliance with HIPAA, SOC II, and information security policy and procedures • Review, mentor, and coach, while defining and promoting the use of standards, best practices, and lessons learned • Optimizing monolithic applications to microservices and component-based architectures • Work with end users, product analysts, and developers to understand features and technical implementations • Adhere to all standards of confidentiality and security • Assist with the implementation and optimization of server monitoring tools to maintain visibility on capacity, security, availability, continuity, and usage/speed metrics that fall outside optimal parameters • Provide 2nd and 3rd level support for infrastructure systems in a 7x24 environment • Liaise with 3rd party suppliers and other IT professionals for the incident and problem resolution • Participate in on-call rotations • All duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Demonstrable programming language experience in some combination of Python, Shell/PowerShell, or Expect scripting • Experience with AWS/Azure compute, storage, backup, monitoring, and operational services • Familiarity with container-managed services like AWS Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS) or Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) • Strong knowledge in working with Windows and Linux operating systems • Strong experience in building and configuring infrastructure and application monitoring tools • Web services and APIs and in RESTful • Design, architecture, operating, and development documentation • User management, security, and identity management • Security and Compliance experience with SOC2, HIPPA, and information security policies and procedures • Understanding of business strategy • Process implementation and improvement • General knowledge of networking fundamentals and components (load balancers, SSL tunnels, TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls) including experience with managing load balanced, high volume, highly available environments • Experience managing multiple cloud accounts

Qualifications: Education: 4-year degree or an equivalent combination of education, technical certifications, and experience

Experience:

• 4-6 years of experience in the public cloud (AWS/Azure) implementation, and support • 5+ years of experience configuring and deploying Windows and Linux-based infrastructure and operating systems, including day-to-day system administration experience • 2+ years working with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, Azure Resource Manager, and configuration management tools including Ansible, Chef, Puppet • 2+ years of experience in building and configuring monitoring tools such as AWS CloudWatch, Azure Monitor/App Insights/Log Analytics, Splunk, New Relic, Dynatrace, Datadog • 2+ years of experience in at least one (preferably more) of the following languages: Python, PowerShell, Shell • Handles complex issues and problems and refers only the most complex issues to higher-level staff • Possesses comprehensive knowledge of the subject matter

Certification: Azure and AWS Associate and Professional level IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) v.3
