Are you currently looking for a new opportunity? If so, I have a role that might be just the thing. I am actively seeking a Cloud Network Engineer to join my client's team. This is a fully remote long term contract opportunity.

WORK YOU'LL DO:

  • Lead the company's migration to Azure cloud and infrastructure-as-code from the networking perspective. Represent the networking practice in the project leadership team from design through implementation.
  • Design and recommend networking solutions as presented with company objectives and needs.
  • Work with management to define the network roadmap for the coming year(s).
  • Facilitate and provide technical guidance on projects both internal and external.
  • Work with DevOps to develop proper repositories, workflows, and pipelines for managing cloud infrastructure as code
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Network Architect experience, or equivalent demonstrated through a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • cloud environment experience with an emphasis on the Microsoft Azure cloud
  • Expertise in all layers of the OSI model and fundamental networking protocols (TCP, UDP, ICMP, BGP, OSPF, HTTP, SSH, SNMP, NTP, etc.).
