  • Be successful working in a remote capacity
  • Occasionally (not frequently for the entire contract but sometimes several evenings or weekends in a row) be assigned to handle a late evening or weekend deployment
  • Analyze and document many programs using skills in CICS, JCL, VSAM, TSO, COBOL, programs and able to work in the relational IMS database.
  • REXX, File-Aid and Mark4 are important
  • Must be able to move from partially completed tasks to new urgent tasks, then back without concern

Skills/Experience10+Detailed knowledge of developing and maintaining mainframe applications.7Skill in Cobol, CICS, JCL, REXX, Mark4, ISPF, File-Aid, and Job Scheduler 7Skill in systems documentation 7Experience and understanding of IMS and VSAM7Ability to read code, understand business rules, and modify programs based on new rules.7Excellent communication skills1+Experience developing complex application systems using software development life cycle.
