Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Collections Specialist in the heart of Houston, Texas. In this role, you will be crucial to our operations, managing open accounts, conducting outbound collection calls, and resolving customer-billing issues. You will be integral to our team, working in an industry that demands precision, thoroughness, and strong interpersonal skills.Responsibilities: Manage and review open accounts for collection efforts Conduct outbound collection calls professionally, while maintaining and improving customer relations Resolve customer-billing problems and negotiate the collection of accounts receivable delinquency Collect customer payments in accordance with payment terms Identify and discuss issues that contribute to account delinquency with management Review and monitor assigned accounts in accordance with company policies and guidelines Provide timely follow-up on payment arrangements Process payments from customers as needed Deliver excellent customer service to both internal and external customers Utilize Microsoft Office products for efficient operations and communication.
