job detailsjob summary:Construction Site Safety Technician needed for a high profile long term project near Taylor, TX. Candidate will serve as the site safety lead for the project, and will provide daily support to the team. An OSHA 30 certificate is required along with 10+ years experience in the construction field. Fluency in Spanish a big plus. Conduct HSE Orientation and onboarding training for Contractors in English and Spanish.
Perform daily safety inspections at the construction site.
Monitor contractor activities, identifying safe and unsafe behaviors and conditions.
Report issues to contractors and site manager, ensuring prompt resolution.
Conduct site safety inspections, focusing on elevated work areas, scaffolds, tools, and PPE.
Participate in morning toolbox meetings.
Requirements:
Certification or Diploma in Construction HSE or related field.
OSHA 30 (Construction) certification required.
CHST, CHSM, or equivalent preferred.
Strong training skills with interactive engagement abilities.
Fluent in both English and Spanish with excellent communication skills.
Minimum of 10 years of construction site experience in an HSE Technician or Supervisor role.
