job detailsjob summary:We are seeking a highly experienced Manufacturing Controller to join our dynamic team in Grand Prairie, TX. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and finance, with extensive experience in manufacturing or distribution environments. Prepare timely financial and cash flow reports

Ensure compliance with GAAP

Manage cash flow and oversee cash management processes

Conduct audits and ensure compliance with internal and external standards

Develop and maintain accounting schedules

Oversee the accuracy and productivity of day-to-day financial activities

Provide leadership and guidance to accounting staff

Execute the full cycle month-end close process

Implement and manage job cost accounting

Manage accrual processes

Participate in budget and forecasting activities

Utilize strong Excel skills for financial analysis and reporting

Skills and Competencies:

In-depth understanding of GAAP

Strong cash management skills

Proficiency in audit processes

Ability to develop and maintain detailed accounting schedules

Proven leadership capabilities to manage and motivate accounting staff

Exceptional Excel skills for advanced financial analysis

Expertise in job cost accounting and full cycle month-end close processes

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

qualifications:Minimum Educational Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance

CPA certification

Minimum Candidate Experience:

10+ years of progressively responsible experience in accounting and finance

5+ years of management experience

2+ years of experience with ERP systems, NetSuite preferred

3+ years of experience in a manufacturing or distribution (inventory) environment

Additional Preferences:

3 years of public accounting experience
