Description We are in search of an Assistant Accounting Manager to join our team in San Antonio, Texas. The Assistant Accounting Manager will be responsible for spearheading organizational effectiveness, managing financial audits, and overseeing managerial accounting. This role also entails providing financial counseling and facilitating training and development in the financial sector. Responsibilities: Drive organizational effectiveness through strategic financial planning and operations Conduct thorough financial audits to ensure accuracy and compliance with financial regulations and standards Oversee all managerial accounting tasks, including budgeting, cost accounting, and financial forecasting Provide comprehensive financial counseling to various departments to aid in decision-making processes Assume responsibility for managerial oversight, ensuring all financial operations align with company objectives Develop and implement training and development programs to enhance financial knowledge and skills across the organization Analyze financial data and prepare reports for management to facilitate strategic planning Implement financial analysis techniques to identify business opportunities and areas for improvement Ensure adherence to financial laws and guidelines to maintain organizational integrity Collaborate with other departments to streamline financial processes and operations. Requirements Possess strong skills in Financial Analysis, capable of assessing financial data and providing actionable insights. Proven experience in Financial Audits, ensuring all financial practices adhere to regulations and standards. Demonstrated ability in Financial Counseling, providing advice on financial management to various departments. Expertise in Managerial Accounting, including budgeting, financial planning, and cost control. Experience in Managerial Oversight, able to supervise and guide a financial team. Proven ability in Organizational Effectiveness, ensuring optimal performance across all business areas. Experience in Training & Development, capable of mentoring staff and facilitating detail oriented growth. Must possess strong ethical standards and a high level of integrity. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively with different teams and stakeholders. Demonstrated ability to use financial software and applications. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field is required. Relevant certifications such as Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) are preferred. Proven track record of leading a financial team in a similar industry. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly advanced skills in Excel. Excellent written and oral communication skills.
