Description We are in search of a Controller located in Houston, Texas. The primary function of this role is to oversee the management of company funds, risk assessment, and financial reporting. The industry of operation is corporate finance and the workplace is a traditional office setting.Responsibilities: Manage and oversee daily cash flow operations to ensure sufficient liquidity is maintained for organizational needs. Conduct regular analysis of cash flow trends and variances to inform strategic planning. Identify and mitigate financial risks related to currency, interest rates, and credit. Oversee banking arrangements, including negotiation of credit facilities and cash management services. Supervise treasury operations including payment processing, reconciliation, and compliance while maintaining internal controls. Regularly prepare and present reports on cash flow, liquidity, and financial risk for senior management and external parties. Ensure the preparation and presentation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements comply with GAAP and internal policies. Develop, implement, and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure financial accuracy. Ensure compliance with tax regulations, financial reporting standards, and other regulatory requirements. Coordinate and liaise with external auditors during annual audits, preparing necessary documentation and addressing audit findings. Enforce corporate guidelines for cash management and maintain records of all corporate accounts, authorized signers, and signatory levels. Serve as a liaison with various bank officials, resolving discrepancies between the company and the banks.
