Job summary - Controls and Automation The Maintenance Technician, Controls and Automation will work as a team player with surrounding departments to help achieve goals in safety, quality and production through implementing, improving and maintaining automated processes.

Basic Responsibilities: Availability to work any shifts based on business needs Ability to work on weekends or holidays for training, business needs, or projects Support Maintenance Technicians and Tooling Technicians as needed Collaborate with surrounding departments to execute repairs and projects Ensure safe work practices are followed per OSHA and safety policies Identify areas for improvement in automated systems and execute the tasks required to achieve this improvement Execute work orders related to automation and controls Execute PM work on Robots Maintain Camera Inspection System programming and modify based on quality needs Clean up work area when complete ensure area and equipment is safe for operation Uphold 5S practices both in the shop and on the production floor

Minimum Qualifications: 2+ years in industrial manufacturing environment Knowledge and understanding of AC and DC circuits Ability to read electrical schematics Knowledge and understanding of Pneumatic Circuits Knowledge and understanding of Sequencers Knowledge and understanding of Robotics

Preferred Qualifications: Manufacturing experience in automotive or similar industry Robot Programming and Optimization Robot EOAT design and optimization PLC troubleshooting specifically Siemens Vision System Modifications both Cognex and Keyence SAP
