Spicy Boys Fried Chicken at Fairweather Cider (Metric Blvd) is hiring a Food Trailer Cook. This position requires full time availability Wednesdays through Sundays.

Compensation & Benefits

- Guaranteed minimum hourly rate of $22.00 - base pay and tips combined

- All full-time employees eligible for health insurance benefits

Requirements

- Cooking experience strongly preferred

- Ability to communicate with customers and team members - basic English language proficiency

- Ability to work in physically challenging conditions; this may include: standing for 8 hours at a time, lifting and carrying up to 50lbs, and working in hot and cold temperatures

- Food Handler Certificate

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

- Cook, prepare, and serve food according to established recipes and quality standards;

- Follow all Health Department and company food handling safety standards;

- Keep individual station and all work areas organized, orderly, and clean;

- Follow guidance from Food Trailer Lead and perform other work-related duties as instructed;

- Perform all applicable duties and responsibilities in a proactive, efficient, and timely fashion;

- Monitor station inventory levels, anticipate issues early and communicate with Food Trailer Lead;

- Effectively communicate with guests and team members

- Create opportunities to deliver exceptional hospitality to our customers;

- Clean and maintain all company property, monitor equipment function and proactively alert Food Trailer Lead of any necessary repairs;

- Demonstrate willingness and ability to improve job performance over time and take on additional responsibilities.
