They keep people and projects running smoothly, ensuring every part of our business is provided for and well taken care of.GENERAL FUNCTIONThe Senior Finance Analyst will be a trusted advisor to business unit leaders, providing insights to support the decision-making process in a variety of expense and capital spend reviews. Key activities include ensuring that business unit leaders follow a standard process for their spend request presentations. Coordinate the local approval meetings and prepare senior leadership for corporate approval meetings.MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsible for developing and maintaining a joint EL Spend Approval Request (SAR) Process framework to ensure leadership can make the best possible decisions for the company.

Understanding and vetting the OpEx financial requests coming from the EL cross-functional businesses.

Collaborate with EL cross-functional business leads and suggest recommendations to gain alignment from both the global executives, NA EL CFO, Essilor President, and President of EL Wholesale, in order to set financial operational outputs and execution plans.

Acts as the EL Finance lead to support NA EL CFO and President of EL Wholesale on EL Operational Expenditures, operational outputs and execution plans.

Responsible for enhancing and maintaining the CapEx Process framework and discipline to ensure leadership can take the best possible decisions for the company.

Interacts with Global finance, Global Operations, Global IT, and other Global teams to gain alignment from Global CFO, COO, and CEO, while communicating EL CapEx with NA EL CFO, Essilor President, and President of EL Wholesale.

Manage complex requests across EL and construct a consolidated overview of the company’s CapEx requests

Own the innovation framework for EL to ensure initiatives are a strategic fit for the organization.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Effectively communicates and engages with all levels of the organization verbally and in writing, with the ability to build effective partnerships across teams and outside of the Finance organization.

Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects while delivering results in a timely manner.

Highly organized, self-motivated, and detail oriented.

Self-motivated leader with an intellectual curiosity, eager to learn and grow, able to learn on their own and improve existing processes.

A fast learner, able to understand the business in a short timeframe.

Effectively communicates and engages with all levels of the organization verbally and in writing, with the ability to build effective partnerships across teams and outside of the Finance organization.

Bachelor degree required – Finance or Business Administration preferred.

3+ years of experience in finance modeling, business case development, or financial reporting & analysis.

Proven working knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications with advanced skills in MS Excel and PowerPoint

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Experience with financial software (SAP, Oracle) is a plus

Project Management experience
