Cost Accountant

Description We are offering an opportunity for a professional Cost Accountant to join our team based in Dripping Springs, Texas. The role involves reviewing and processing inventory-related invoices, collaborating with the Manufacturing team to correct discrepancies, and assisting with ad-hoc requests. This role is key in maintaining our financial records and ensuring our accounting processes are efficient and accurate. Responsibilities: Review and process all Inventory-related invoices with correct GL, Customer, Department, and Product dimensions. Collaborate with the Manufacturing Team and/or Vendors to correct or update Purchase Order, PO Receipt, and Invoice discrepancies. Manage our Prepaid Inventory Process, ensuring all transactions are processed in a timely manner and in the same accounting period. Oversee our Drop-Ship Process by working closely with the Manufacturing Team. Assist Senior Cost Accountant, Accounting Team, and the Manufacturing Team with Ad-Hoc requests, including External Audits. Transition other Inventory-related processes from the Senior Cost Accountant when comfortable with the workload. Utilize various accounting software systems for efficient processing and record keeping. Assist in budget processes and cost analysis tasks as needed. Perform other related accounting functions as required.
