While details may evolve, our goal is to create an environment where innovation thrives, with office-based teams coming together three days a week to collaborate and thrive, together!Your CareerOur Learning & Enablement team is seeking a Technical Training Developer with a technical background, who can work both independently and closely with content developers and subject matter experts to design and produce a diverse range of learning experiences.The successful candidate will engage in intricate projects spanning our entire product portfolio, addressing scenarios where a comprehensive assessment of diverse factors is essential. This individual will actively connect with key partners, showcasing proficiency in instructional design and learning development principles. Your Impact

Design, develop and maintain technical training content and curricula serving the learning needs of the Palo Alto Networks' product users, both internal and external

Translate complex technical concepts into effective learning solutions using your technical expertise

Collaborate with engineering, product management, and cross-functional teams to align training with product launches

Deliver alpha, beta, and 'train-the-trainer' training worldwide for internal and external audiences as needed

Ensure high quality of training content by performing ongoing testing, troubleshooting, and updating of training content, demonstrations, hands on labs and assessments

Create student, instructor led, digital and lab guides for diverse learner groups

Adapt to rapid innovation by promptly revising content while meeting deadlines

Engage with courseware-related forum postings and postings of new courseware

Demonstrate agility in learning and implementing various networking, security, and cloud technologies

Collaborate with the digital learning team to create online content

Contribute effectively to cross-functional projects

Stay current on the cyberthreat landscape and adjacent technologies that range from general networking to endpoint systems, from SaaS to Public Cloud infrastructure to Machine Learning

Your Experience

A minimum of 3 years of experience in technical curriculum development

Proven track record in creating curriculum, including comprehensive course planning, and the ability to seamlessly develop instructional content and assessments that align with various learning objectives

Proficiency in at least one the following technical domains:

Networking

Network security

NGFW (Next-Generation Firewall)

CASB (Cloud Access Security Broker)

SASE solutions (Secure Access Service Edge)

SD-WAN (Software-Defined Wide Area Network)

Autonomous Digital Experience Management

A unique blend of proficiency in tools such as:

Articulate

Evolve

Captivate

Camtasia

Adobe Suite

G Suite

Demonstrable samples showcasing your eLearning course development skills

Experience creating and managing the production training labs, building workflow of interactive eLearning and video modules with at least one Learning Management System

A BA/BS/MA/MS degree in Instructional Design, a related field, or equivalent military experience is required

For candidates who receive an offer at the posted level, the starting base salary (for non-sales roles) or base salary + commission target (for sales/com-missioned roles) is expected to be between $109,600/yr to $177,200/yr. The offered compensation may also include restricted stock units and a bonus.
