Monday - Friday. Employees are required to have flexibility to work any of our 8-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of 9am - 5:30pm local time. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime.We offer 8 weeks of paid training. The hours during training will be Monday-Friday 9:00am-5:30pm EST (8:00am-4:30pm CST).   Training will be conducted virtually from your home.All Telecommuters will be required to adhere to UnitedHealth Group’s Telecommuter Policy.Primary Responsibilities:

Call members to schedule in home visits with a Physician or a Nurse Practitioner

Answer inbound calls from members and assist them with their inquiries

Ensure that the appointments are scheduled accurately and resolve any scheduling issues or concern

This is high volume, customer service environment. You’ll need to be efficient, productive and thorough dealing with our members over the phone. You also must be able to work a flexible schedule that includes evening hours. High School Diploma / GED or equivalent work experience

Must 18 years or older

1+ years of work experience

Experience with Microsoft Word (create/edit/save/send documents)

Microsoft Excel (create/edit/save/send spreadsheets)

Microsoft Outlook (create/edit/save/send correspondence)

Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA requirements

Ability to work an 8-hour shift between our normal business hours of 9:00am-5:30pm local time

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working in the health care industry

Experience working with Medicaid or Medicare

Experience working in a customer retention focused role

Telecommuting Requirements:

Reside within EST or CST

Required to have a dedicated work area established that is separated from other living areas and provides information privacy

Ability to keep all company sensitive documents secure (if applicable)

Must live in a location that can receive a UnitedHealth Group approved high-speed internet connection or leverage an existing high-speed internet service

Must be able to connect directly into internet – via hard wire (either directly to modem or router)

Soft Skills:

Ability to type and talk at the same time while navigating through multiple screens

Experience working in a metric-driven work environment

Experience using an auto dialer system

Connecticut, New York, Rhode Island, OR New Jersey Residents Only: The hourly range for this is $16.00 - $28.27 per hour.
