Cyber, Electronic Warfare and Space (CEW&S) is looking to hire a CVA Infrastructure Support Specialist to provide technical support to customers who need assistance utilizing client-level hardware and software in accordance with established or approved organizational process components (i.e., Master Incident Management Plan, when applicable).

Essential Job Responsibilities

(Applicant may perform subsets of responsibilities outlined below, as required.) • Identify and mitigate UNIX/UNIX-based operational system vulnerabilities. • Perform infrastructure support on systems that include but are not limited to: Information technology assets such as computers, applications, data, and cyber operations platforms • Implement Computer Network Defense infrastructure support; identify and mitigate infrastructure vulnerabilities and persistent threats; and understand, detect, and emulate network infrastructure adversary tactics, techniques, and procedures. • Identify web and web application-based vulnerabilities with a focus on computer security; system administration capabilities and detection of abuse or misuse. • Identify database and database application-based vulnerabilities with a focus on computer security, system administration, and detection of abuse or misuse • Support dynamically or statically analyzing software applications to gain an understanding of system, mission, and or application vulnerabilities and exploits. • Coordinate with external partners to ensure adequate system administration and infrastructure needs are met. • Perform the Cooperative Vulnerability and Penetration Assessment functions: Provide technical coordination support to CVPA Mission Commanders during the planning, execution, and reporting phases. Provide assessment plan input during the site survey by determining the functional areas required to execute a CVPA mission Oversee technical activities during mission execution based on MC direction. Provide technical / engineering support to configure Government-provided hardware/software • Perform system engineering, administration, and maintenance services to ensure the secure operational status of the system. • Maintain data files and monitor system configuration to ensure data integrity. • Perform preventative system maintenance and install, support, and maintain computer systems. • Plan and respond to service outages, monitor and enhance system performance, and implement and ensure security preventative measures are fully functioning. • Sustain applications, databases, and interfaces in compliance with applicable AF DoD standards. • Provide technical analysis for advocacy for resources, remotely managing and monitoring sites as identified by the PMO. • Perform test and application of Time Compliance Technical Orders. • Provide site-specific logical and physical network drawing generation and maintenance, and support testing activities. • Ensure systems are in compliance with Security Technical Implementation Guides. • Provide engineering support for system integration and test events of systems/projects to include deployment and installation support, provide scripts, and testing and implementation of those scripts. • Operate and maintain a system-integrated test lab that is capable of supporting a full range of integration test activities for both the currently fielded system(s) as well as maintenance/modernization releases. • Establish and maintain an environment that mirrors the operational environment in order to perform regression testing.

Minimum Qualifications

2 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 0 years experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 6 years relevant experience.

  • DoD 8570 IAT Level III Certification
  • Position requires TS/SCI willing to comply with SAP requirements.

Preferred Requirements

• CISSP preferred • Understanding of at least one of the major cloud platforms (i.e. Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud) • Familiarity with containers adhering to the Open Cloud Initiative (OCI) as well as orchestration via Cloud Native Computing Foundation (CNCF) technologies (i.e. Kubernetes) • Familiarity with cloud service provider features such as compute, containers, storage, networking, database, big data, identity & access, monitoring, serverless deployment, and dev tools. • Familiarity with DevSecOps methodology, employing security testing throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC)
