Cyber, Electronic Warfare, and Space (CEW&S) is wanting to bring on board a Cyber Network Analyst to support our team in San Antonio, TX. In this role, you will ensure all DCO Operators provide expertise with security and database information management tools. To be successful you must be capable of working with various types of networks and have stellar problem-solving and critical-thinking skills. Those successful in this position are highly capable of analytical reasoning and applying logic to situations. You will also have the ability to manage and work with different types of network firewalls, and understand data integration and network design.

Essential Job Responsibilities

In this role, you will:
  • perform assessments of systems and networks within the networking environment or enclave and identifies systems and networks that deviate from acceptable configurations, enclave policy, or local policy.
  • Evaluates incident response procedures and capabilities. Exploits system and network vulnerabilities and misconfigurations for purposes of gathering data from target or adversary automated information systems or networks and to enable operations and intelligence collection capabilities.
  • Leverages computer networks to disrupt, deny, degrade, or destroy information resident in computers and computer networks, or the computers and networks themselves.
  • Conduct Offensive Cyberspace Operations (OCO) and Defensive Cyberspace Operations (DCO) using established tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTP) to achieve objectives.
  • Assess and reverse engineer network nodes and infrastructure devices (including operating systems and software applications) to determine capabilities, functionalities, limitations, and vulnerabilities
  • Conduct specific cyberspace actions in support of intelligence operations
  • Participate in research and development as well as operational testing and evaluation to determine possible new or modifications to existing capabilities
  • Collaborate with other DoD, interagency, and Joint Forces to apply forensically and reverse- engineered TTP to determine the extent of the battle damage sustained during cyberspace attacks
  • Provide support for 24x7 Cyber Network Operations (CNO) during non-core business hours; Employ the Plan, Brief, Execute, and Debrief (PBED) methodology

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related Field with two (2) years of experience OR five (5) years of related experience. Cyber certification qualifying for DoDI-8570.01-m IAT Level II (Required)

TS/SCI level clearance required.

Linux administration and VMware Microsoft, PowerShell, Putty, Buffer Overflow and Techniques, Privilege Escalation, Rootkit, Redirection and Triggering, Tunneling, Encryption, Secure Enclaves, and Boundary Protection
