Cyber Security Engineer Lead -Houston, TX

Hybrid - 3 days onsite and 2 days remote Kelly Technology has an immediate need of a Security Engineer Lead to work for our client in Houston, TX.

Requirements:

• Knowledge of network protocols, data flows, and vulnerabilities within a TCP/IP environment.
• Experience with some of the following: firewalls, IPS, IDS, EDR, SIEM, WAF, VPN platforms and Cloud Technologies, such as Rapid7 InsightVM.
• A commitment to keep up to date with emerging security threats, technologies and trends
• Strong problem-solving skills combined with a proactive approach and confidence to make decisions.
• Able to effectively communicate security-related concepts to a broad range of technical and non-technical staff; across IT and business; senior management.
• Able to work effectively in an environment characterized by multi-tasking, juggling multiple projects and conflicting priorities
• Working knowledge of Unix, Windows Workstation/Server, Routing, Cloud Technologies.
• Security +, CISSP, GIAC, Firewall or Cloud certifications are strongly preferred.
