Job Description The client is one of the leading manufacturing companies in the aerospace industry. They strive in designing equipment for airplanes such as landing gears, jet engines, wheels, brakes, etc. They are currently building out their IT department and while doing that they are looking to bring on a Cyber Security Systems Administrator. In this role you will be responsible for providing support for core processes and infrastructure processes. Deploying, monitoring, maintenance and support of security devices. Having a background in deploying security infrastructure with Microsoft Azure or AWS, endpoint detection and response, and integration of security tools would be ideal. This is a full-time position, onsite two to three days a week, located in Irving, TX. Salary range will be around $100-115k. Required Skills & Experience
- Associates/Bachelor's in IT related field
- 3+ years of system administration experience
- Experience working with Microsoft/Office 365, Active Directory, Group Policy, and VMs (VMware)
- Networking component experience with Cisco Systems
- Understanding of Network security concepts (SIEM tools/Endpoint detection)
- Firewall experience with Palo Alto, Cisco ASA, Wireshark, or Fortinet
- Skilled in troubleshooting infrastructure issues with servers, user computers, cell phones, and network devices
- Strong background in creating scripts such as PowerShell, Bash, Python for administration tasks
- Salary range will be around $100-115k
