Cyber, Electronic Warfare and Space (CEW&S) is looking to hire a Cyber Vulnerability Assessment (CVA) Operator to analyze the security of new or existing computer applications, software, or specialized utility programs and provide actionable results. Additionally, the CVA Operator ensures that the stakeholder security requirements necessary to protect the organization's mission and business processes are adequately addressed in all aspects of enterprise architecture including reference models, segment and solution architectures, and the resulting systems supporting those missions and business processes.

Essential Job Responsibilities

• Perform evaluations of systems, networks, applications, and cyber weapons • Perform on systems that include but are not limited to: Information technology assets such as computers, infrastructure, applications, data, and cyber operations; IP and ICS / SCADA-based systems; other systems as required by the customer • Perform the Cooperative Vulnerability and Penetration Assessment (CVPA) functions IAW DoD Cybersecurity policy • Perform during the Vulnerability Assessment (VA), Compliance Assessment (CA), Remediation Action (RA), and Penetration Testing (PT) • Provide technical coordination support to CVPA Mission Commanders (MC) during the planning, execution, and reporting phases of CVPA missions • Provide technical / engineering support to configure Government-provided hardware/software to conduct CVPA operations. • Sustain applications, databases, and interfaces in compliance with applicable AF DoD standards. • Perform system engineering, administration, and maintenance services to ensure the secure operational status of the system. • Sustain applications, databases, and interfaces in compliance with applicable AF DoD standards. • Perform test and application of Time Compliance Technical Orders (TCTOs). • Provide engineering support for system integration and test events of systems/projects to include deployment and installation support, provide scripts, and testing and implementation of those scripts. • Operate and maintain a system-integrated test lab that is capable of supporting a full range of integration test activities for both the currently fielded system(s) as well as maintenance/modernization releases. • Provide assessment plan input during the site survey by determining the functional areas required to execute a CVPA mission, developing penetration test scenarios based on mission scope and objectives, and identifying the technical activities needed to accomplish mission objectives. • Oversee technical activities during mission execution based on MC direction. • Evolve and innovate the development of new CVPA capabilities.

Minimum Qualifications

2 years relevant experience with Bachelors in a related field; 0 years experience with a Master's in a related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 6 years relevant experience.

DoD 8570 IAT Level III Certification ( CISSP preferred) Position requires TS/SCI level clearance, willing to comply with SAP requirements.

• Knowledge of: identified vulnerabilities, alerts, and bulletins (IAVA, IAVB); IT security certification and accreditation requirements; of IT security principles and regulations; methods for evaluating, implementing, and disseminating IT security tools and procedures; network architecture concepts including topology, protocols, and components; pertinent government laws and Information Technology regulations; structured analysis principles and methods; systems diagnostic tools and fault identification techniques; the organization's enterprise IT goals and objectives
