Summit Technologies, Inc. has potential opportunities for

Cybersecurity Support. You will utilize our client’s automated incident tracking systems to record service calls and oversee the cybersecurity process. These on-site positions are located in Fort Sam Houston, TX and require an active DoD Secret security clearance.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Enter all service call actions into the Government-provided tracking system.
  • Scan the NIPRNET and provide a weekly brief on the vulnerabilities and risks detected.
  • Ensure that personnel accessing information systems have the proper and current Cybersecurity certification. This includes the management of the System Authorization Access Request (SAAR) process and the performance PKI Enhanced Trusted Agent duties, issuing and revoking SIPRNET and Administrator tokens.
  • Assist the Government in preparing cybersecurity audits, inspections, training, policy and other staff actions.
  • Inspect all remote user sites annually and provide the P-ISSM with an inspection report after completion.
  • Respond to security incidents that threaten the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of the networks in accordance with (IAW) Command Incident Response Plan.
  • Maintain readiness to respond to security emergencies during non-duty hours, assisting the government in tracking incidents from discovery to resolution.
  • Investigate additions and changes to cybersecurity processes to identify, measure, and control threats to minimize the unauthorized disclosure of information via monitoring, IAVAs, and cost-effective countermeasures.
  • Undertake an average of two investigations per month, not to exceed 40 man-hours per project.
  • Document integration of procedures changes, organization hardware and software acceptance testing, and mitigation procedures in accordance with organization and industry standards.
  • Provide an ACAS Administrator, SIEM Administrator, and AESS manager to ensure cybersecurity compliance of NIPRNET systems and applications.
  • Create weekly IAVA status report and work with other Leads to identify, patch and correct vulnerabilities.

Certification

Requirement

:
  • DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level II certification (Security+ CE, CCNA Security, CySA+ , GICSP, GSEC, CND, or SSCP).

Clearance Requirement:
  • DoD Secret security clearance.
