Very large Supply Chain company is seeking a Data Analyst for a consulting role, with the potential of conversion to permanent. This position is 100% remote, so you can live and work anywhere in the U.S. Travel may be required, up to 10-20%. The Monday-Friday work hours are 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM EST, no overtime is expected. The person for this role doesn't need super strong SQLskills. More of the focus ison finding a Data Analyst who's good at analytics and interpreting data and putting together insights and a story around the data. RESPONSIBILITIES As the Data Analyst, you'll serveas akey resource in the collection, analysis, and communication of insights derived from large internal and external data sources. Must becomfortable with the challenges of managing and maintaining large data sets, as well as creating reporting and business insights using the same data and presenting to leadership. To be successful in this role, the DataAnalyst must be able to work across the Marketing group and other parts of the organization to gather and share insights about the business. As the DataAnalyst, youwill typically work on gathering data from multiple systems and sources, analyzing, packaging and presenting insights from the data, and the creation of marketing audiences. Will be responsible for both maintaining and building new lead scoring models. Will also be responsible for creating 360 customer reporting and market analysis. Additional duties include:
- Design, build, and deliver customized Dashboards and reports through MS Excel/PowerPoint and/or Power BI to Executive leadership on key strategic initiatives. Fulfills ad hoc reporting requests from management leaders.
- Develop 360 customer and market analysis across Ryder Business Units that may include customer/market sizing, share, growth, trend analysis and segmentation; developing top target lists for execution in B2B marketing and sales campaigns and analysis of campaign/sales results; and utilizing statistical modeling techniques with in-house and third-party suppliers to refine predictive models for targeting prospects, customer up-sell/cross-sell opportunities, and churn/at-risk segments, among other applications.
- Build and maintain lead scoring models for multiple product lines.
- Ensures data accuracy, performing and reporting on periodic audits and data integrity checks.
- Participate in the acquisition, summarizing, cleaning, validation, connection, and analysis of data stored in various systems, databases, and tools.
- Maintenance, organization, and supervision of Ryder's data assets and infrastructure. Functions as a steward of the team's data resources. Makes recommendations and identifies issues to escalate to the Analytics Sr. Managers.
- 3 - 5 years working with large data sets, reporting and, analysis.
- Proficient in writing and developing SQL queries and analyzing data in Excel (lookups, pivots, visualization, conditional logic).
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact with all levels of management and across business and IT groups.
- Goodunderstanding of B2B Marketing concepts, practices, challenges.
