This candidate will be responsible for providing timely and accurate reporting that enables our leadership to make informed data-driven decisions. This position requires the development of reports, charts, tables, graphs, and intermediate statistical analysis using tools such as Python, SQL, Tableau, and Microsoft Excel. Specifically, this candidate will be responsible for the following: Responsibilities:

  • Generation and delivery of standard reports
  • Maintain existing and develop new data pipelines used to ingest reporting data using Python
  • Synthesize raw data into actionable insights to drive business decisions
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders in the translation of business requirements for new reports
  • Identify gaps and opportunities for improvements among existing reports
  • Completion of ad-hoc reporting, data, and analysis requests
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of recent SQL programming using relational databases such as Netezza and Snowflake
  • 5+ years of recent Python using NumPy, Pandas, and Matplotlib
  • Experience using a visualization tool such as Tableau is a plus
  • 5+ years of experience in designing reports, charts, and graphs in Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to multitask on several projects at once
  • Ability to work independently with deadlines and deliver high-quality results
  • Advanced experience in creating Access databases and Excel Reports using modules, forms, macros, formulas, VBA, and pivot tables
  • Strong understanding of financial services data desired
  • Data warehouse experience helpful
Must Haves:
  • Must be able to code in SQL and Python
  • Ability to break down complex logic to build efficient and maintainable code
Additional Responsibilities:
  • Participate in OrangePeople monthly team meetings, and participate in team-building efforts
  • Contribute to OrangePeople technical discussions, peer reviews, etc
  • Contribute content and collaborate via the OP-Wiki/Knowledge Base
  • Provide status reports to OP Account Management as requested
