Day-to-Day:
  • Designs strategic data solutions with current and emerging technologies partnering with enterprise architect.
  • Responsible for introducing new technologies and conducting POC.
  • Creates and Owns Information architecture, data strategy implementation.
  • Participates in the review of data strategy, risk assessment and roadmap.
  • Facilitate and maintain enterprise information architecture for unified access to structured and unstructured data across multiple data sources.
  • Design and implement data solutions using Master Data Management principles and tools.
  • Partner with leaders and team members across the business/Tech. to design and institute practices that will drive the appropriate levels of rigor and quality in enterprise information architecture.
  • Define processes for the effective, integrated introduction of new data.
  • Ability to think through multiple alternatives and select the best possible solutions to solve tactical and strategic business needs.
  • Responsible for implementing information security guidelines across data architecture.
  • Works with project management and other architects to provide work estimates and ensure timely delivery of the data solution.
  • Define/test/Implement and optimize data architecture framework.
  • Seeks design approval from data architecture team and from architecture review board.
  • Maintains review documents and approval information.
  • Mentors’ senior and junior architects as business and technical SME.

Must-Haves:
  • Enterprise Data Warehouse Architect /Modeler - Extensive background in Data warehouse architecture, MDM, Customer Data Hub, Data marts/DSS implementation, ODS design and implementation and data integration.
  • Conceptual Data Modeling, Enterprise Data Modeling, Logical Data Modeling, Physical Data Modeling
  • Hands on expertise in leading definition, design, and deployment planning of data management strategies. Developing and implementing data framework, reference models, data modeling (operational and analytical).
  • Knowledge of and/or experience in using maturity models, ISO standards involving data, and the ITIL services concept. Good grasp of current and emerging technologies for data storage, data management, data transformation, data quality, and analytics.
  • Understand business systems analysis, and process and data artifacts within an enterprise architecture framework, such as TOGAF.
  • Hands on experience on multiple data technologies such as relational Databases, Data replication, Data Integration, Reporting and data governance tools with a strong emphasis on databases.
  • Experience in implementing information security and data access control across all forms of data stores (RDBMS, Unstructured, File Stores etc.). Experience/ Knowledge of encryption and key management systems.
  • Hands on expertise in data modeling for operational, warehouse, master data management and analytical reporting system. Experienced in conceptual, logical and physical modeling using Erwin or similar tools.
  • Can develop MS office automation code.
  • Experience implementing master data management (MDM) techniques for sharing reference data.
  • Expertise in designing solution for structured and unstructured data (JSON, XML) and working knowledge of data streaming platforms.
  • Very Good understanding of underlying hardware architecture (process and storage) used by data stores (RDBMS and non-RDBMS).
