Title- Data Engineer

Location- Dallas, TX (Remote)

Duration: Full-time

Job Description:Having 8+ years of IT experience with minimum 3 years in designing and developing data analytics solutions using cloud technologies like Snowflake and DBT • Extensive hands on experience in DBT – DBT CLI, DBT Cloud, GitHub version control and repository knowledge, • Design and develop DBT models and build the data pipeline processes to perform complex ELT processes as per DBT scripting. • In-Depth knowledge and hands on experience on DBT concepts such as Models, Materialization, Sources, Seeds, Snapshots, Packages, Hooks, Exposures, Analyses, , write complex SQL queries • Proven experience on End to End DBT project implementation technical solutions, including architecting, designing and development and guiding team as needed. Experience in identifying architecture gaps that can improve availability, performance and security for productions systems and working towards resolving those issues along with development team. • Experience in ETL migration projects using DBT ( required. • Develop transformation scripts using advanced SQL and DBT. • Working experience in Snowflake; use of SnowSQL CLI, SnowPipe creation of custom functions, views, materialized views and Snowflake stored producers, schema modelling, performance tuning etc. • Implement/support new data solutions in the data lake/warehouse built on the snowflake • Hands on experience on snowflake features like streams, tasks, zero copy clone, datasharing, timetravel • Good Understanding and knowledge on CI/CD process and GitHub->DBT-> Snowflake integration • Advance SQL knowledge and hands on experience on complex queries writing using with Analytical functions, Troubleshooting, problem solving and performance tuning of SQL queries accessing data warehouse as well as Strong knowledge on stored procedures • Good to have exposure/experience on dbtvault. • dbt Analytics Engineering Certification as well as SnowPro-Core / SnowPro-Advanced certification will be added advantage.
