This is a Contract-to-Hire position, and the client is looking for someone to start immediately. Duration: 6 Months Contract-to-Hire Location: Westlake, Texas/ Raleigh North, Carolina Role: Data Engineer Primary Skills: Python Role Description: The Data Engineer must have at least 4+ years of experience. Required Experience and Skills: - Hands-on experience with AWS services. - Hands-on experience with using Cloud Platform provided Big Data technologies like EC2, EMR, RedShift, S3, Kinesis. - Hands-on experience in programming languages like Python or PySpark or Scala or SQL/PLSQL. - Having a deep understanding of IAM Roles, Policies, Users, and Groups. - Hands-on experience in setting up Cloud platforms for use-cases. - Experience in Big Data technologies Hadoop, Pig, Hive, and Spark.
