Data Engineer on a contract basis provide work on a data move and parser product. Shedule is Hybrid Dallas. Wednesdays and Thursdays onsite. We are seeking a self-motivated and self-driven candidate who may start soon, if candidate desires. You will work with some technical leaders of this established product development team and company with a large customer base. This is a contract Python development role performing design, development, testing and implementation of software tools and solutions of our clients online data application. Our client s product has the ability to collect data, monitor data, move data, ingest data and parse data, as well as present real-time statistics on a dash boards of data. Deliver on feature requirements with coded solutions of new functionality. Perform critical thinking to solve complex problems, and provide solutions. Build Python data framework that works as real-time statistical solution that works well to monitor real-time data and present data in reports or dashboards. Data framework with move data via rest API and parse it. Build and maintain parsing applications in Python. Use python, pandas, and numpy to perform data manipulation and calculations and report results. Perform detailed analysis of parser code to resolve problems. Create new python data parsers of files/data to parse text, csv, json or XML data feeds to interact with rest apis. Ingest data for analysis using tools such as postman, or insomnia or python libraries. Also, respond to issues needing improvement or support. System holds Data in storage arrays, disk arrays, a data storage system for block-based storage, file-based storage, or object storage. Python skills are a key for this role.

Qualifications Required:

  • 2-3+ years of Python work experience
  • Proficiency in Python programming of Python applications or Python data frameworks to move data in data arrays.
  • Python libraries for numerical calculations.

Nice to have experience with any of these: Bachelors degree. Experience programming python extract, transfer, and load applications, or python data array movement applications, Pandas, Numpy, postman or insomnia. An understanding of how to move data. Understanding of rest API. Understanding of Parsing of text, excel, json or xml files/ data.

Hourly Rate: $45 y0 /hr
