Location: Partially remote - Farmers Branch, TX (2 days work from office)Summary:Develop components of databases, data schema, data storage, data queries, data transformations, and data warehousing applications. Assess Data Scientists needs and rules then collaborate internally and with data owners to understand technical requirements. Provide alternative solutions to a given problem. Contribute to advancing the team’s design methodology and quality programming practices. Effectively resolve problems and roadblocks as they occur; and consistently follow through on details and drive issues to closure. Write documentation and communicate database and ETL design. Collaborate with program management and testing peers in the development of assigned components. Participate in, and provides input to, requirements definition. Actively participate in group technology reviews to critique work of self and others. KEY ACTIVITIESEssential Duties and Responsibilities:•Assist with creation of a robust, ETL Process and data structures that support Data Scientists requirements and provides for expansion•Work with customers, end users, technical architects, and application designers to utilize outcomes from predictive models in BI applications•Evolves data models to meet new and changing business requirements•Develop and test extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes•Define and capture metadata and rules associated with ETL processes•Data profiling•Ensure that the database designs fulfill the requirements, including data volume, frequency, and long term BI growth requirements.
