Job ProfileData Quality Lead AnalystJob Description:The most important part of the role is the SQL- need experience writing scripts and analyzing large transactions of Data.Major Global Bank is looking for a resource to join its data management team. This is a service-centric organization focused on digitizing divisions products/services, driving out manual work, delivering world-class client experience, and enabling growth via scalability.The Data Quality and Governance organization within this division is responsible for driving data architecture to deliver front to back design, identify gaps, and implement a robust governance framework across information services. A key focus is on Data Quality including Completeness, Accuracy and Timeliness across data flows. The function is responsible for extensive partnering across divisions Asset Classes to drive key initiatives and associated deliverables for the data strategy and manage change with the right governance frame. The function and role spans the organization, and as a result, requires strong engagement with relevant teams.Key Responsibilities include:• Leadership within data analyst team involved in data quality initiatives spanning division and global functions.• Working with cross functional teams to develop, test, implement and maintain data quality rules covering the trade life cycle across Markets data.• Analyzing data quality exceptions to identify root cause and business impact for data quality issues raised.• Enhancing data quality process automation, governance, and reporting.• Preparing and presenting written and verbal updates to senior management.• Ensuring adherence to best practices supporting Major Global Bank Program, Project, and Data Management Standards• Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Major Global Bank's clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.Required Skills:• 8+ years of experience in data-focused initiatives across Pre-Trade/Post-Trade activities such as RFQ, Order/Executions, Trades, MTM, Positions, etc.• 5+ years of experience in writing SQL queries and reviewing stored procedures.• Exposure to Capital Markets is beneficial.• Experience working with Database, Reporting/Analytics.• Experience in FIX, XML messaging is a plus.• Experience in Issue tracking and governance with systems like JIRA / HPQC is a plus.• Proven stakeholder management and team leadership skills.• Data and Results oriented with excellent attention to detail.• Strong sense of urgency and ability to manage competing priorities while delivering results quickly and efficiently.• Exceptional level of motivation and diligence coupled with excellent communication skills (verbal and written), as well as strong relationship building skills.Education:• Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience / Master's degree168211 Please see our complete list of jobs at:www.rmscorp.com
