What you'll do:

Work with business stakeholders to understand the business problems and the expected outcomes
Build hypothesis based on business needs to further translate the business needs into the domain of Data Science and Analytics
Use in-depth knowledge with SQL, Python, and data visualization tools to understand sources and prepare data for downstream consumption
Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Qliksense and techniques to translate business analytics needs into data visualization and semantic data access requirements
Work with stakeholders & Subject Matter Experts in operationalizing the AI/ML solutions
Work with management to prioritize business and information needs

What you'll need:

Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management, Statistics, Finance or Accounting, Master’s Degree preferred
5+ years of relevant experience in related analytics and business intelligence
Proven proficiency with data engineering using SQL, Python, and data transformation tools
Knowledge in Data Analytics using DataFrame packages (Python, R, Spark, Scala)
Familiarity with ‘Modern Data Warehouse’ architecture using cloud-based storage solutions and data processing orchestration (e.g., Blob storage, Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory, etc.)
Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Qliksense/Tableau/Power BI and techniques in translating business analytics needs into data visualization and semantic data access requirements
Intermediate skills in Data Architecting, Visualization, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint
Technical fluency regarding data mining, data modeling, database design/development, API, and other data and software engineering techniques
Experience using cloud-based data orchestration tools
Must possess effective communication skills, both verbal and written
Strong organizational, time management, and multi-tasking skills
Experience with data conversion, interface and report development
Adept at developing queries, report writing, and presenting findings
Process improvement and automation a plus
