Cyber, Electronic Warfare, and Space (CEW&S) is needing to bring a Data Scientist on board. This position will work closely with intelligence analysts, operators and telecommunications industry experts to help modify TTP.

To be successful in this role you need to show:
  • Strong knowledge of statistical data, measures of performance (MOP) data, calibration, and operational preparation of the environment information to apply scientific rigor to determine measures of effectiveness and platform efficiency.
  • You must be driven to explore data, provide statistical insight to decision-makers, optimize solutions and promote data-centric operations.
  • Must be analytical and a creative thinker
  • Must be self-motivated to work in isolation and work with the weapons and tactics flight ( BOK)

Essential Job Responsibilities

  • Develop methodologies to analyze data, perform network characterization, and brief results as needed in
  • support of situational awareness and post-mission effectiveness assessments for operations, exercises, testing, and training.
  • Provide network and target behavior insight to planners and operators for target status assessments and TTP employment.
  • Aide our customers with identifying situational awareness and post-mission effectiveness assessment requirements and their priorities.
  • Provide situational awareness and post-mission effectiveness solutions and implementation details.
  • Document real-world engagement of cyber weapons effects using the kinetic Munitions Effectiveness Manual methodologies.
  • Provide OJT to other contractors, military, and/or civilian personnel, and maintain continuity folders/working aids to ensure efficient transition when personnel rotates.
  • Be able to transform collected data into formats and values necessary for further advanced analysis.
  • Show proficiency in writing code in Python to prepare data for analysis by other systems and to generate insights using modern statistical and machine-learning techniques.
  • Articulate analytical findings using statistically rigorous methods and language ability to analyze and assess software development or data acquisition requirements and determine optimum, cost-effective solutions
  • Have significant experience dealing with open source, publicly available information (PAI) data sources and types

Minimum Qualifications

5 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 3 years relevant experience with Masters in realted field; 0 years experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 9 years relevant experience.

DOD Directive 8570.01 IA Baseline Certification Requirement for IAT Level II Must have current TS/SCI

Preferred Requirements

- 4+ years of experience in data analytics or quantitative intelligence analysis- Experience directly supporting military or intelligence community customers- Demonstrate progressive technical development and outcomes- Proficiency in one or more big data programming languages, such as R, Python, Scala, or Java.- Knowledge of basic AWS Cloud infrastructure and functionality- Experience with the Elastic stack: Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana (ELK)- Previous experience performing research in Data Analytics or big data
