Database Administrator

Miracle Software Systems is actively looking for Database Administrator at Dallas, TX location. Please let us know your interest and availability for this position.

• Install, configure, patch and upgrade operating systems, databases and related administration/management tools.
• Perform daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all system resources and key processes.
• Review system and application logs, and verifying completion of scheduled jobs.
• Manage security of system and individual accounts and privileges.
• Provide assistance with analysis and recommendations for capacity planning.
• Participate in the operation and maintenance of systems.
• Assist with administration and maintenance of enterprise storage with respect to managed infrastructure.
• Assist with development, testing and maintenance of disaster recovery plans.
• Assist with creation and maintenance of standards and procedures under direction of Database/Systems Manager.
• Other related duties and responsibilities as assigned.

• Six (6) years of experience in database management with emphasis on knowledge of SQL Server database technology.
