This position will provide leadership and technical oversight on NASA JSC’s Simulation and Advanced Software Services (SASS) contract as well as other government and commercial contracts. Specialties include robotics, controls and analysis, multibody dynamics, hardware/software integration, simulation, virtual and augmented reality, and visual creative services from concept development to animation and video production.
Duties and Responsibilities:- Supports the identification and management of functional Program goals and objectives
- Provide planning and execution support to Project Managers
- Coordinate with company management to ensure strategic goals are achieved
- Help develop and maintain a high level of engagement and positive relationships with customers
- Provide oversight and coordination of performance objectives, contract deliverables, and placement of qualified personnel for identified projects
- Assist the Program Manager with resource and schedule planning
- Help identify and mitigate Program and Project risks
- Facilitates both horizontal and vertical communication within the program and projects
- Supports compliance with corporate IT, HR, and safety policies
- Assist the Program Manager as required, in the management and execution of contract requirements
Required Qualifications:- Bachelors or Advanced Degree in Engineering
- 15 years of applicable professional experience
- Proven leadership responsibilities and interpersonal skills
- Ability to motivate employees involved in the project to complete tasks on time
- Excellent organizational and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Problem solving and time management skills
