Description We are currently looking for a Desktop Support Professional who has experience using Azure Active Directory and M365. This role involves providing support to our users, troubleshooting problems, and ensuring optimal efficiency in the use of desktop applications and systems. A specialist in this role will handle networking issues, implement new computer systems and hardware, and provide support on a range of IT-related topics.Provide technical support to both local and remote desktop users.Troubleshoot software and hardware failures and identify network problems when they relate to personal desktop computers.Work directly with end users to provide support in the setup, upgrading, and maintenance of desktop systems.Provide support for Microsoft 365 suite including but not limited to Exchange mailboxes, SharePoint and Teams.Maintain systems in cloud-based environments such as Azure Active Directory, handling user access management, identity management, and system security policies.Configure, test, and maintain desktop end-user systems and software, ensuring smooth deployment and functionality.Create and manage user accounts in Microsoft 365 and Azure Active Directory.Assist in the preparation of system documentation and standard operating procedures.Liaise with vendors and developers for troubleshooting and system optimization.Train users on the use of desktop applications and systems.Requirements Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field.Proven experience as a Desktop Support Engineer, Technical Support Engineer or similar role.Experience with Azure Active Directory and Microsoft 365 administration.Knowledge of network security practices and anti-virus software.Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills.Good communication ability, both written and verbal.Experience with remote desktop applications and help desk software.Knowledge of various operating systems and databases.Experience with online help desk platform and remote control software.Any relevant certifications such as MCSE, A+, Network+, etc. will be considered an advantage.Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.® Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
